Cowan TK Supply List

2025-2026

 

REQUESTED PERSONAL ITEMS: Please clearly label the following items with your child’s name, as they will be for personal use

• 1 box of 16-count Crayola crayons (regular size, not jumbo)
• 1 box of “Multicultural” or “Colors of the World” crayons (regular size, not jumbo)
• 1 regular-sized backpack OR tote bag (no mini-backpacks, please- must be large enough to fit a lunchbox, water bottle, jacket, folders, papers, etc.)
• 1 lunch box/bag (large enough to fit a healthy, daily snack)
• 1 pair of wired over the ear headphones (NO EARBUDS, PLEASE!)

 

REQUESTED ITEMS FOR CLASSROOM: We are asking that you please consider donating the following items for use in the classroom. Please do NOT label these with your child’s name, as they will be for communal use.

• Snack, sandwich, quart, and/or gallon-sized ziplock baggies
• Disinfectant surface wipes (Clorox, Lysol, etc… NOT flushable or baby wipes)
• Individually packaged non-perishable snacks (e.g. crackers, fruit strips, snap peas, Goldfish, applesauce pouches, pretzels, raisins, etc.)
• Fabric band-aids
• Gel hand sanitizer
• Crayola washable markers (any size/color)

RECOMMENDED ITEMS FOR HOME: You may also want to consider purchasing the following items to keep at your home if you do not already have them, as your student will need them for homework throughout the year.

• Several #2 pencils

• Picture books
• A pair of child scissors
• Glue sticks

not washable) • 2 Jumbo Elmer’s glue sticks • 1 box of Ticonderoga pencils • 1 college rule composition book (please put your child's name on or
inside the cover) • 1 pair of over the ear headphones (no earbuds please) (please put them
in a Ziplock bag with your child’s name on it) • 1 box of Kleenex
*School size backpack (big enough to carry an 11x13 folder and a lunch box.
Also, something to carry a daily snack. Name and room number on both in
black Sharpie please.
Optional Donations: • Individually wrapped non-perishable snacks (goldfish, granola bars,
apple sauce packets, cracker packets, raisins, etc) • Stickers • Pencils, small toys for prize box • Crayola colored markers • Crayola colored pencils
**Please DO NOT bring additional items. They will be sent home. The
only thing your student’s name needs to be on is the headphones.
Everything else becomes Room 21 community supplies.

• 1 Pair of kid scissors with your child’s name written on them in permanent pen

• 1 White Elmer’s glue

• 1 composition book with your child’s name on it
• 3 boxes of 24 Crayola Crayons (TRADITIONAL COLORS AND NOT WASHABLE) 
• 1 box jumbo Crayola markers (10 pack, standard colors)
• 5 small-sized glue stick
• 1 pair of headphones *** If your child’s headphones break, we will ask for another pair to be sent in. Please put them in a Ziplock with their name on it
• 12 Ticonderoga pencils
• 1 yellow highlighters 
• 2 black Expo whiteboard markers

*Due to limited storage space in classrooms, please do not bring additional items at the beginning of the year as we may have to send them home. Should we need additional supplies later, we will reach out as needed.

• Bring supplies in a bag to Meet the Teacher on August 13th, 2025
• Label with your child’s name.
• Hang the bag on a hook outside of your child’s classroom.
